Celebrity Antiques Road Trip: Lucy Porter’s wedding to a famous actor who starred in Endeavor

One of the celebrities appearing on this season of Celebrity Antiques Roadshow is comedian and actress Lucy Porter, famous for appearing on panel shows like Will I Lie to You? as well as on the Radio 4 panels.

After starting out as a journalist, Croydon-born Lucy, 48, found her true calling in acting and began to carve out a profile for herself.

Her TV work also paid off as she ended up marrying an actor you will likely recognize from the hit ITV show Endeavor.

Lucy married her longtime partner Justin Edwards in 2009, and you might recognize him from the many TV shows and movies he’s been in over the years.

Justin Edwards as Ben Swain in The Thick of It

Among them are the classic BBC political comedy The Thick of It where he played the “big” Ben Swain, as well as Paddington, the CBBC show Sorry I’ve Got No Head and even the Marvel blockbuster Thor 2.

This is, of course, in addition to one of his more recent roles in the ITV hit Endeavor in which he plays Station Chief Paterson.

Justin, 49, has also had quite a career off-screen in radio, appearing on many of the same shows as his wife Lucy, from Just a Minute, to radio sitcoms like In and Out of The Kitchen.
